Winter Field Day 2022 is Coming!

Winter Field Day is being held on January 29/30, 2022. You can work from three different types of locations. It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills and try out new techniques.

You can be at Home, using your normal equipment and antenna. You can be Outdoor, where you use a location other than home, and is physically outside even in your own vehicle with antenna set up that is not fixed. Or lastly you can operate Indoor, using a location that is remote from your usually location and where an amateur station is not located.

It is an opportunity to test out your emergency communications procedures while also learning ways to activate in the field with limited resources. If you are interested follow the link below to get more information and prepare yourself for an interesting weekend.

December Meeting & Christmas Party

Hello All,

It’s that time of the year again. We are holding our annual Christmas Party. This year our meeting falls on the 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, December 7th 2021. Please take a moment to remember those lives that were lost defending our country.

We will be holding our Christmas Party at Denny’s in Oneida, NY, starting at 6 pm in their conference room. If you arrive later that is okay. You can sit and enjoy and order food if you feel so inclined.

We welcome all guests that want to attend and find out more about our club. If you wish to bring a dessert to pass that is allowed as it has already been discussed with Denny’s.

This is also our election night so our members should be prepared to vote and make nominations. We hope to see you all there and again everyone is welcome.
